VIGIQUINTA – Prevenção and Segurança, Lda, based in Quinta do Lago, is authorized to carry out security services in the following areas: Manage and run alarm monitorization and intrusion systems as well as security systems (Licence nº. 38 A dated 08.10.1999 issued by the Government); surveillance of movable and fixed belongings and control of entrance, exit and presence of people, as well as the prevention of the entrance of weapons, foreign substances, mechanisms and objects which are legally prohibited in buildings and areas restricted or limited to the public (Licence nº. 38 C dated 08.10.1999 issued by the Government).

Both villas and tourist resorts/hotels can be, and are, in the majority, linked to alarm monitorization and fire prevention systems, enabling security guards, on a permanent basis, 24 hours a day, to provide answers to any emergency which may arise within the perimeter of Quinta do Lago.

All of these operations are carried out following plans of action, which have been rehearsed, tested and trained.
